Eligibility to Purchase

The purchase of products from katesylvester.com is limited only to parties who can enter into and form contracts in accordance with New Zealand law. Customers must provide their real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information. When providing payment details, customers must warrant that the payment details provided are theirs and are both valid and correct. katesylvester.com is only available to customers who meet our terms of eligibility. Purchases made are for personal use only and must not be resold or used for commercial benefit. katesylvester.com reserves the right to decline multiple quantities to one customer or address.

Payment

Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard and American Express as well as PayPal. Payment will be cleared from your account upon receipt of your order. The credit card you are using must be yours. All credit card/debit holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of the payment method refuses to authorise the payment,
katesylvester.com will not be held responsible for any non-delivery.

katesylvester.com takes every precaution to make our site as secure as possible. SSL is used to encrypt and protect the data you send us over the internet to ensure that your details are safe. We do not hold any payment details on record.

Exchanges

If you have purchased the wrong size and would like to exchange it for another size, please contact us at contact@katesylvester.com within 7 days from the date of purchase and you will be sent an email containing a Return Authorisation number and instructions on returning the garment. Shipping costs back to katesylester.com will be the responsibility of the customer. Once the product is received and has undergone a quality control check to ensure the product has not been worn and that the tags are still in place, the new size will be dispatched. Please note that customers will not be charged additional delivery fees for the exchange.

If you receive a faulty product, please notify contact@katesylvester.com immediately and the item will be exchanged for you.
Please note that returned goods will not be accepted without a Returns Authorisation number.

Refunds

If you would like to return your purchase, please contact us at contact@katesylvester.com within 7 days of receiving your purchase and you will be sent an email containing a Returns Authorisation number and instructions on returning the garment. Shipping costs back to katesylester.com will be the responsibilty of the customer. Once the customer has been sent a Returns Authorisation number, the item must be sent back within 14 days to be eligible for a refund. Once the product is received and has undergone a quality control check to ensure the product has not been worn and that the tags are still in place, the purchasing amount will be credited to the purchaser's credit card.

If goods are eligible for a refund, the refund will be made within 14 days of receipt of the items by katesylvester.com. We strongly advise customers to thoroughly check the product and try it on when it is received to ensure you are satisfied with the products. Refunds and exchanges will not be permitted after 7 days from the date of receiving your purchase. Shoes must be returned with their original designer packaging and unworn. Shoes returned without their original boxes will not be accepted. Please note that refunds will not be accepted without a Returns Authorisation number.

When you order, the shopping cart automatically presents you with the freight charge depending upon what country they are to be delivered to.

New Zealand

katesylvester.com ships within New Zealand using Courier Post.

International

katesylvester.com ships internationally. Orders are sent by DHL to most countries. When converting prices to another currency or when an item is charged to a credit card, a slight price variation of between 2 and 5% may occur due to fluctuating exchange rates and credit card company charges. We take no responsibility for charges incurred at receivers end after sending the parcel as this can vary depending on the rules of customs in each country.
Any refunds processed to an international credit card will done using the exchange rate on the day the refund is processed. katesylvester.com takes no responsibility for any difference between the refund rate and the rate that the initial purchase was processed at.

IMPORT CHARGES

If you are purchasing anything from our website and you live outside of New Zealand please be aware of any import duties and taxes that may be charged on delivery into your country. These charges depend on your country's import legislation and are not covered by Kate Sylvester. If these taxes are imposed, the approximate delivery time may be affected

Order in time for Christmas

To ensure your order has the best possible chance of making it to yourself or a loved one over Christmas, please ensure you place your order before the dates below. Refunds and exchanges will be available for faulty goods ordered over the Internet, but please be aware that our office is closed from 23 December - 8 January so any exchanges will be handled after 8 January. If you're unsure about sizing or colours, remember you also have the option of sending a voucher so the recipient can choose for themselves. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
